Biographical Information[edit]
Jim Henry pitched three years in the majors with an overall record of 6-2 and one save. Most of his games were with the Boston Red Sox in 1936.
Henry was born in Danville, VA in 1910. Only two other major leaguers were born in Virginia that year: Bud Thomas and George McQuinn.
Jim's minor league career included multiple seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Chickasaws and Minneapolis Millers. He went 19-13 for Memphis in 1935.
