Jim Furtado

Jim Furtado founded Baseball Think Factory (then Baseball Primer) in 2001 with Baseball Reference founder Sean Forman. His work has been written about by The New York Times and he has been mentioned in myriad baseball books, including Total Baseball and The Baseball Encyclopedia. He created a statistic known as extrapolated runs.
