Total Baseball

Total Baseball is a baseball encyclopedia first published in 1989. It contains pitching and hitting statistics for every player who appeared in a major league game. Also there are a handful of essays on different elements of baseball history. Primary editors have been Pete Palmer, John Thorn, David Pietrusza, and Michael Gershman. Contributors have included Bill Deane. The book has been reedited and expanded numerous times since its first edition.
