Biographical Information[edit]
Jim Carone has been a college coach.
Carone went 10-3 with a 2.21 ERA as a college junior, winning Northeast Conference Pitcher of the Year. He was an assistant at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (2004), Stevens Institute of Technology (2005), Wagner College (2006), Rider College (2007-2008) and Villanova University (2009-2011). He then was hired as head coach of Wagner from 2012-2021, winning 207 games, the 2nd Wagner coach to that number. He set a school record for wins (38) in 2018 and was Northeast Conference Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018. He then became head coach of McDaniel College.
