Biographical Information[edit]

Starting pitcher Jesse Darrah played in the Arizona Diamondbacks minor league system from 2011 to 2014. He was drafted by the club in the 8th round of the 2011 amateur draft, one pick after pitcher Carson Smith. He signed for a bonus of $105,000.

After two mediocre years to begin his career, Darrah went 12-9 with a 3.69 ERA in 27 starts for the South Bend Silver Hawks in 2013, earning a spot on the Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star team. After going 3-5 with a 6.08 ERA in 16 starts for the Visalia Rawhide to start 2014, he was released.
