Biographical Information[edit]
Jess Vernon played two games for the British women's national team in the 2022 European Women's Championship, their debut event. Against the Netherlands, she relieved Dora Lau in the 5th with a 9-2 deficit. She walked Wendy Bladt (who stole) then she got Nikki Groenemans on a grounder. She balked in Bladt while striking out Esther Maliepaard and plunked Cherise Stravers. Sascha Egas singled and a balk made it 11-2. Anouk Vergunst singled in a run and Rebecca Cottrell relieved. Her other game, she replaced Rose Bhanji in right late in a loss to France. [1]
