Biographical Information[edit]

Cherise Stravers debuted for the Dutch women's national team in the 2019 European Women's Championship. She started in right field and batted third in their opener but was 0 for 3 against Camille Foucher of France. Her first hit was a two-run double off Tereza Švingrová of the Czech Republic. For the first round, she hit .231/.444/.308 with seven runs and three RBI in four games, fielding .857 but with an impressive three outfield assists. She tied Isabelle Markies and Rosie Lyard for 6th in runs and tied Mélissa Mayeux‎‎ for 5th with four steals. Hitting third in the title game, she was 1 for 2 with a walk and a double off Foucher and then was hit by a Mayeux pitch, but the Netherlands fell 5-2 as her teammates did not fare as well. [1]
