Biographical Information

Jeronimo Blanco (at times "Geronimo") was an outfielder in California Angels organization as a teenager in 1973-1974 and in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization in 1981.  Blanco played in Mexico briefly in 1984 and remained an active player in Colombia into the late 1990s, when he was well into his 40s. Blanco has scouted for the Cincinnati Reds and served as a coach for the Tigres de Cartagena of the Colombian League as recently as 2021.
