Outfielder Jerome Stone is the twin brother of Jeff Stone. He played two years in the minors. In 1984, he hit .277/~.390/.462 in 26 games for the GCL Phillies with five triples and four steals (never caught stealing). He was less successful with the Utica Blue Sox, going 0 for 26 with 11 strikeouts, two walks, three steals in 3 tries and 3 runs in 9 games. In 1985, Jerome went 10 for 59 with 3 walks, 24 strikeouts, 5 steals, 14 total bases and 6 runs in 51 games for the Clearwater Phillies.
