Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Jeremy Robinson played independent baseball in the early 2000s. With the Frontier League's Richmond Roosters in 2000, he was 3-3 with a 4.56 ERA in 49 1/3 innings. He struck out 56 batters. In 2001, he was 11-3 with a 3.73 ERA in 103 2/3 innings for the Baton Rouge Blue Marlins of the All-American Association. He led the league in wins in its lone season of operation. Back with the Blue Marlins (now of the Southeastern League) in 2002, Robinson went 3-0 with a 2.89 ERA in 43 2/3 frames. Overall, he was 17-6 with a 3.75 ERA in 196 2/3 innings.

He died on October 31, 2014 at the age of 38.
