Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Jeremey Kendall was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 26th round of the 1992 amateur draft, one pick after pitcher Matt Morris. He played in their system from 1992 to 1996. The speedster averaged nearly 30 steals per season, leading the South Atlantic League with 62 in 1994. He finished his career with a .260/.355/.371 slash line, swiping 149 bags and collecting 403 hits over five seasons. He never played above Double A.

His son, Jeren Kendall, has played in the minor leagues.
