Biographical Information[edit]
Jeong-hun Lee has played in the Korea Baseball Organization.
The KIA Tigers took Lee in the 2nd round of the 2017 KBO draft; he was 0 for 2 with a hit-by-pitch for them in 2017 but hit .326/.421/.526 in the minors. He played for the South Korean national team in the 2017 Asian Championship, starting at catcher and going 3 for 11 with 2 doubles, 2 walks, a hit-by-pitch, 3 runs and 3 RBI while handling 20 putouts, 2 assists and making no errors (opponents were 2-for-2 in steal attempts). In the Bronze Medal Game, he hit 6th and went 1 for 2 with a walk, run and RBI before being replaced by Seung-min Lee in a 15-0 rout of the Philippines.
