Biographical Information

Third baseman Jeff Port was picked in the 15th round of the 1968 amateur draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, two selections before Grady Little. He did not sign and wound up winning Silver with Team USA in the 1971 Pan American Games but did not turn pro. He was on three College World Series champions - in 1970, 1971 and 1972.
