Biographical Information

Jeff Schattinger gave up no runs during his three innings in the majors with the Kansas City Royals in 1981. He was three years younger than George Brett.

Schattinger's father, Dick Schattinger, was a minor league infielder 1947-1949.

Jeff was at USC at the same time as eight other future major leaguers, the most prominent of which was Dave Engle.
