Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Jeff Roy began his professional career in 2013.

He was taken by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 18th round of the 2013 amateur draft. The scout was Chris Kline. In his first pro year, with the Jamestown Jammers, he hit .292/.376/.324 with a New York-Penn League-leading 23 stolen bases (tied with Harold Ramirez) in 53 games. He was a Mid-Season All-Star that year. In 2014, he hit .233/.303/.284 with 24 swipes in 105 games between the West Virginia Power and Bradenton Marauders. He began 2015 with West Virginia.
