Biographical Information

Jeff Pohl has been a minor league player, manager and coach and a scout.

Pohl was taken by the San Francisco Giants in the 26th round of the 1995 amateur draft. He was 3-5 with a 3.94 ERA for the 1996 Bellingham Giants and 5-4, 4.65 for the 1997 Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. He next surfaced in 2000 with the Yuma Bullfrogs, posting a 1-4, 4.75 record to finish his playing career at 9-13, 4.50 in 43 games (13 starts).

He was pitching coach for the 2002-2006 Evansville Otters and managed them in 2007. In 2008, he became a Minnesota Twins scout for Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. He signed Cole Johnson.
