Biographical Information

Jeff Fischer was drafted from the Indianapolis Indians roster, in the Montreal Expos organization, by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1988 Rule V Draft. The Dodgers then sent catcher Gil Reyes to the Expos on March 27, 1989 in order to secure the right to send him to the minor leagues.

Fischer was pitching coach for the Burlington (IA) Bees in 1993-1994 and West Palm Beach Expos in 1996.
