Jeff Curtis
Biographical Information[edit]
Jeff Curtis has been a college coach and a scout.
Curtis began as an assistant coach at Fort Scott Community College in 1992. He was their head coach for five years then was at Garden City Community College for two years. He was 231-156 as a junior college coach. In 2000-2001, he was assistant coach at the University of Texas-Arlington, then was promoted to head coach. He was 29-29 his first year then improved to 37-25 the next. They were 32-26 in 2004 and fell to 26-32 in 2005, 29-36 in 2006 and 13-40 in 2007 before being replaced by Darin Thomas. At UTA, he coached Hunter Pence, Ryan Roberts, Daniel Ortmeier, Adam Moore and Dillon Gee.
Curtis then became a scout for the Chicago Cubs before moving to the San Diego Padres.
