Biographical Information[edit]

After playing junior college ball, Adam Moore transferred to the University of Nebraska, but redshirted in 2005. He then transferred again to the University of Texas at Arlington. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 6th round of the 2006 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Mark Lummus for $140,000 and made his pro debut that summer. He had a very unique career—his major league career was 9 seasons long, but it consisted almost entirely of cups of coffee. He averaged just 12 games and 32 at-bats per stay in the bigs, playing more than 10 games in a season just once (2010). From 2011 to the end of his career, he averaged 5 games and 9 at-bats per big league stay.
