Biographical Information[edit]
Jay Williams was a minor league trainer. He worked for the Helena Gold Sox, Stockton Ports, Rockford Expos, Jacksonville Expos, Harrisburg Senators, Ottawa Senators, Durham Bulls, Greenville Braves and Richmond Braves from about 1985 to 2005. He also worked for the Escogido Lions and in the Arizona Fall League.
In 1998, 2000 and 2001, he was named the Southern League Trainer of the Year.
According to one source, he later worked in the San Francisco Giants system and became head athletic trainer at Mauldin High School in Greenville, SC.
