Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Jason Krizan was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the eighth round of the 2011 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that summer with the West Michigan Whitecaps, hitting .239 with 3 home runs and 19 RBI in 53 games. It took him over a decade to reach the majors leagues, doing so on April 29, 2022, by which time he was a member of the San Francisco Giants.

Krizan moved into the coaching ranks as hitting coach of the Winston-Salem Dash in 2023 and Pensacola Blue Wahoos in 2024.
