Biographical Information[edit]
Jason Kilby was 1-0 for Australia in the 2010 World Junior Championship, beating France (5 BB, 5 K, 1 H, 1 R in 5 IP). He pitched for his hometown Brisbane Bandits in the 2011-2012 Australian Baseball League (4 H, 2 BB, 2 R in 2 1/3 IP). He was 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA in six games for the 2012-2013 Bandits, allowing only 4 hits in 14 IP and striking out 13, although he did walk nine. The Cincinnati Reds signed him in March 2013; the scout was Jim Stoeckel. He did not pitch in their chain that year due to injury. In the 2013-2014 ABL, he allowed two walks and one hit in 2/3 of an inning for Brisbane, fanning both outs. Let go by Cincinnati, he signed with the Austrian Baseball League's Vienna Wanderers for 2014.
