Jason Dooley was 13-0 with a 1.98 ERA as a sophomore at Averett College in 2000. He won All-American honors for NCAA Division III. Transferring to Bethune-Cookman, he had a 9-6, 5.14 record in 2002. The Colorado Rockies took him in the 42nd round of the 2002 amateur draft. Jason was 3-3 with a save and a 3.59 ERA in 19 games that summer for the Tri-City Dust Devils. He started 2003 badly (0-2, 11.08, 27 H, 9 BB in 13 IP) for the Asheville Tourists and was released. Signed by the Kenosha Mammoths, he went 6-3 with a save and a 3.44 ERA in 35 outings to end his career.
