Biographical Information[edit]

Jason Davis pitched in the minor leagues and the Taiwan Major League.

Davis was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 30th round of the 1996 Amateur Draft, and he went 6-1 with a 1.82 ERA in 19 games for the Piedmont Boll Weevils in his first season. He recorded a 0.61 ERA in 17 games in Weevils in 1997, and he also pitched 25 games with a 1.49 ERA and 2 saves for the Clearwater Phillies. Davis then went 6-8 with a 4.82 ERA for the Reading Phillies in 1998, then he went to the San Francisco Giants. He notched 21 saves with a 1.27 ERA in 52 games for the Shreveport Captains in 1999. However, Davis slumped to a 6.26 ERA in 46 games with the Fresno Grizzlies in 2000, then he left the Giants chain. The Kaoping Fala signed him in 2001, and he went 3-3 with a 3.77 ERA in 10 games. He then went 1-3 with a 7.54 ERA for the Solano Steelheads in 2002, and he was 5-6 with a 4.15 ERA for the Somerset Patriots in 2004. The '04 season was his last season as a professional player.
