Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Jason Andrew played Texas Rangers (2002-2004) and Cincinnati Reds (2005) systems. Despite finding success wherever he went, he played just one game at Triple A and never made the majors.

Splitting 2002 between four clubs, Andrew went 2-0 with a 1.45 ERA in 17 games (8 starts). The next year, he was 8-7, 3.51 in 31 games (15 starts) and in 2004, he was 8-2, 2.59 in 33 games (8 starts). In his lone game at Triple A that year, he posted a 2.25 ERA in 4 innings. Joining the Reds system for 2005, he went 3-4, 3.59 in 48 games (2 starts).

Overall, Andrew was 21-13, 2.93 in 129 games (33 starts). In 347 1/3 innings, he allowed 326 hits and 100 walks, while striking out 270 batters.
