Jan Jacob has played in the Bundesliga.

Jacob debuted in the Bundesliga-1 in 2007, going 4 for 13 with four walks and five runs for the Bonn Capitals. He hit .232/.367/.283 in 2008 with 18 walks and 9 steals (in 10 tries) in 28 games, but fielded just .855 at third base. In '09, he was 6 for 34 with 6 walks. He allowed 4 runs in 3 1/3 IP. During 2010, Jacob produced at a .258/.343/.323 clip with 17 runs, fielded .953 at 2B and was 0-1 with 7 runs in 4 innings. In the playoffs, he was 1 for 10. He was far better with the 2011 Capitals, hitting .344/.445/.389 and stealing 11 bases in 14 tries, scoring 30 runs in 28 games. He fielded .941 in the outfield. He went 1 for 10 with four strikeouts in the 2011 World Port Tournament. In 2012, Jan hit .238/.295/.262 for Bonn.
