Biographical Information

Jacob Liedka has pitched in the minors.

Liedka had a 1.55 ERA as a high school senior. In junior college, he had a 2-3, 5.14 record as a sophomore. He then transferred to Texas-Corpus Christi and was 1-1 with two saves and a 8.79 ERA in 2009, walking 27 in 28 2/3 IP. In 2010, he improved to 3-3, 6.19 while showing better control (28 BB in 72 2/3 IP). He made his pro debut with the Coastal Bend Thunder that summer but was awful at 1-5, 9.00 with 71 hits allowed in 39 innings. The next year, he moved to the Normal CornBelters and improved, going 2-3 with two saves and a 3.83 ERA in 30 relief appearances. He remained with Normal for 2012.
