Team History[edit]
The Coastal Bend Thunder joined United League Baseball in 2009, the year after the Coastal Bend Aviators played their last season in the American Association. The Thunder disbanded when the UBL ceased operations, but the name was taken over by the McAllen Thunder of the North American League.
