Biographical Information[edit]
Jacob Dean played for the British national team.
In 2013, he hit .273/.385/.333 for the Bracknell Blazers, followed by .424/.513/.537 in 2014 and .292/.357/.458 in 2015. [1] Moving to the Brighton Jets, he batted .341/.463/.409 in 2016. He made Britain's team for the 2016 European Championship; only Elliot Berger was younger on their squad. In his debut, he pinch-ran for Maikel Azcuy against the Czech national team. After four games as a pinch-runner (scoring once), he replaced Spencer Kreisberg in right in a 19-2 rout of Greece. Against Andy Orfanakos, he went 0 for 2. [2]
Dean was 3 for 12 with 8 walks and 6 runs for the 2017 Essex Arrows. [3] He hit .222/.417/.333 in the 2017 European Championship U23. [4]
