Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Jacob Booden began his professional career in 2012.

He was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the St. Louis Cardinals on June 14, 2012. He played for the Johnson City Cardinals that season, posting a 3.49 ERA and 9.2 K/9 IP ratio in 16 appearances. Between Johnson City, the State College Spikes and Palm Beach Cardinals in 2013, he went 6-0 with a 1.51 ERA and 10.2 K/9 IP ratio in 21 games. He played 26 games for the Spikes and Peoria Chiefs in 2014 and had a 3.32 ERA and 10.2 K/9 IP ratio.
