Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Wieneke had three starts and seven relief appearances for the Chicago White Sox in 1921, all in July and August. He was seven years younger than teammate Eddie Collins.
The minor league database for some reason shows his first minor league season as being at age 26. In 1921, along with playing for the White Sox, he also pitched a few games for the Minneapolis Millers.
He and Jim Duncan are the only major leaguers born in Saltsburg, PA as of 2019.
