Biographical Information

Jack Bushell has pitched in the minor leagues and for the Australian national team.

Bushell was 2-0 with a 1.40 ERA in the 2023 U-18 Baseball World Cup, beating Mexico and Spain. He trailed only [[Yugo Maeda] and Wei-Che Tseng in wins. He represented Australia in the 2023 Asia Professional Baseball Championship. He started against Japan, and he pitched 2 innings while allowing a RBI single to Kaito Kozono; Takahisa Hayakawa got the win over him. That was his only appearance in the entire event, and the Australia lost to Chinese Taipei in the Bronze Medal game. He then went 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA for the Adelaide Giants in 2023-2024.

The Detroit Tigers signed him on January 17, 2024 ; the scout was Kevin Hooker.
