Biographical Information

J.G. Lee won a 1908 London Baseball League title, then was organizing secretary of the British Baseball Association. In 1907 and 1911, he had played for a British team against an American-born team, the first British national teams formed. He formed the Military Baseball League in 1916 and helped raise funds for wounded World War I troops with baseball fundraisers. He made the British Baseball Hall of Fame in 2021 with more modern players Maikel Azcuy, Julian Dodwell and Martyn Dutton.
