Biographical Information[edit]
Isaac Nutter was the first African-American lawyer in Atlantic County, NJ and was a prominent defense lawyer. He was president of the Atlantic City Bacharach Giants in 1927-1928 and also was president of the Eastern Colored League, replacing Ed Bolden in an attempt to impose organization on a league beset by issues of umpiring quality and scheduling.
