Inez Ferne Voyce

Biographical Information[edit]

Inez Voyce played six seasons in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, primarily at first base. She began her career with the South Bend Blue Sox in 1946 and and then played with the Grand Rapids Chicks through 1953. She hit .257 and led the league with 3 home runs in 1949. In 1952, she hit 10 homers. That year, she was also suspended 10 days for hitting an umpire.

Overall, Voyce hit .256 with 28 home runs and 422 RBIs in 894 games.
