Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Ian Horne played in the independent leagues from 2016 to 2018. He hit .354/.426/.429 with 57 hits in 57 games for the Topeka Train Robbers in 2016. With the Hollywood Stars in 2017, he hit .391/.457/.563 with 68 hits in 48 games. In 2018, he played for four clubs—the Pecos League's Garden City Wind and Ruidoso Osos and the Canadian-American Association's Hollywood Stars and Salina Stockade. Combined, he hit .303/.381/.382 in 53 games that year. For his career, Horne hit .350/.422/.460 with 5 home runs, 94 RBI and 175 hits in 158 games. He later played in the Intercounty Baseball League.

He also replaced Nolan Cherniwchan as manager of the Wind in 2018; the club went 2-11 under his leadership.

He now runs a baseball clinic in Vancouver, BC.
