Biographical Information[edit]
Hyung Cho played in the minor leagues and for Team Canada.
Cho began his professional career with the Seattle Mariners in 2004, and he hit .298/.322/.417 for the Inland Empire 66ers and .298/.365/.333 for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in his first season. He had a .157/.210/.176 batting line for the Hickory Crawdads in 2005, and he went 4-for-15 with the Everett AquaSox, 0-for-5 with the Tacoma Rainiers and 10-for-39 with the 66ers. He also represented Canada in the 2005 Baseball World Cup. Backing up Lee Delfino at third base, he was 5-for-12 (.417) with a double and 3 runs, but fielded .727. [1]
Overall, Cho hit .237/.294/.286 with 73 hits in 2 seasons in the minor leagues.
