Biographical Information

Hyung-gyun Kim pitched in the CPBL and KBO.

Kim was signed by the OB Bears in 1989, and he went 2-1 with a 3.77 ERA in his rookie year. His ERA rose to 9.58 in 9 games in 1990, and he only pitched 7 games with a 3.09 ERA in 1991. The Bears released him after the 1992 season, and the Jungo Bears signed him in 1994. Kim was 1-3 with a 4.81 ERA in 1994, but he only played one game in 1995 then he was released.

Overall, Kim was 2-1 with a 4.34 ERA, pitched 76 2/3 innings and struck out 33 in 3 seasons in the KBO.
