Biographical Information[edit]
Hyun-soo Cho played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 4 years.
Choi was drafted by the Hanwha Eagles in the first round of the 1998 KBO draft, and he decided to go to college first. He represented South Korea in the 1999 Intercontinental Cup. Their primary first baseman, he was 4-for-14 with a run and handled 47 chances error-free. Choi joined the Eagles in 2002, and he hit .256/.319/.326 in 33 games in his first season. He recorded a .247/.325/.368 batting line in 2003, and he hit .257/.322/.313 in 92 games in 2004. Choi only played one game with the big club in 2015, and he was released.
Overall, Cho hit .251/.322/.342 with 116 hits and 6 homers in 4 seasons in the KBO.
