Biographical Information

Hunter Jones was signed by the Boston Red Sox and scout Jason McLeod as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State University. Jones had pitched through a misdiagnosed broken arm as a sophomore in college, which eventually developed into a fracture through his ulna bone in his elbow. The resulting performance as a junior was a 4-3 5.05 record.
