Biographical Information[edit]

Hun-do Park played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 8 years.

Park represented South Korea in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup, hitting .200/.333/.300, primarily backing up Jung-kwon Park at 1B. The Nexen Heroes selected him in the 4th round of the 2009 KBO draft, and he missed his first two seasons due to military service. Park was mainly placed in the minors for his first three seasons, and he only got 56 at-bats combined with the big club. He hit .245/.327/.394 in 47 games in 2014, and he crushed a pinch-hitting homer against Woo-chan Cha in the 2014 Korean Series Game 4. Park played a career-high 108 games in 2015, and his batting line was .248/.371/.417 with 8 homers. The Lotte Giants then selected him in the second draft, and he hit .261/.378/.493 in 37 games in 2016. He had a .257/.354/.398 batting line in 56 games in 2017, but he struggled in 2018 as he went 3-for-26. The Giants released him after the 2018 season, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Park hit .233/.344/.380 with 134 hits and 19 homers in 8 seasons in the KBO.
