Biographical Information[edit]

Hsuan-Hung Peng pitched in the CPBL for 2 years.

Peng was drafted by the EDA Rhinos in the 9th round of the 2015 CPBL Draft, and he had a 12.71 ERA in 21 games in the minors in 2016. His ERA was 10.90 in 16 games in 2017, then he recorded a 6.89 ERA in 23 games in 2018. Penh also pitched 7 games with the big club in 2018 season, but his ERA was 5.91; he only pitched one more game in the major league in the rest of his career. He struggled again as his ERA was 6.33 in 20 games in 2019, and he recorded a 7.01 ERA in 28 games in 2020. Peng was released after the 2020 season, and his professional career ended.

Peng’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 90.1 mph), changeup and slider.

Overall, Peng was 0-0 with a 4.97 ERA, pitched 12 2/3 innings and struck out 11 in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
