Biographical Information[edit]
Hsuan-Chi Chen pitched for the Taiwanese national team and in the CPBL. He was noted for his screwball. [1]
He pitched for Taiwan when they tied for first in the 1989 Asian Championship. [2] He remained with them for the 1989 Intercontinental Cup. [3] Turning pro, he was 2-1 with a 5.89 ERA in 13 games (7 starts) for the Uni-President Lions in the 1990 CPBL, posting a 1.62 WHIP. He later coached youth and college baseball for years. [4]
