Biographical Information

Hsuan-Chi Chen pitched for the Taiwanese national team and in the CPBL. He was noted for his screwball.

He pitched for Taiwan when they tied for first in the 1989 Asian Championship. He remained with them for the 1989 Intercontinental Cup. Turning pro, he was 2-1 with a 5.89 ERA in 13 games (7 starts) for the Uni-President Lions in the 1990 CPBL, posting a 1.62 WHIP. He later coached youth and college baseball for years.
