Biographical Information[edit]
Hsien-Hsien Yang has played for the Taiwanese national team.
Yang was with Taiwan for the 2003 World Youth Championship (Silver Medal), 2006 Haarlem Baseball Week and 2006 World University Championship (Silver Medal). [1] He hit .167/.259/.167 in the 2008 Haarlem Baseball Week. [2] He hit .160/.382/.160 in the 2008 World University Championship, tying for 5th in walks. His two-run single was the winning hit in a 3-2 victory over the Czechs to avoid an upset. [3] The Sinon Bulls took him in the 5th round of the 2009 CPBL draft. [4] He hit .281/.377/.313 in the CPBL minors in 2010, fielding .929 as a utility infielder. [5] Sinon then let him go.
He was with Taiwan for the 2010 Haarlem Baseball Week, going 2 for 9. [6] He also played in the 2010 World University Championship. [7] In the 2014 Asian Games, he was 1 for 2 while backing up Han Lin at third base. [8] He was slated to be with Taiwan for the 2015 World Port Tournament but was injured and replaced by Yen-Ting Pan. [9]
