Biographical Information[edit]
Hideyuki Akao was an outfielder who represented Japan in the 1998 Baseball World Cup. Backing up Yasuo Ishii in left and Shinnosuke Abe in right, he was 1 for 3 with a RBI and had 2 putouts and one error. His hit was off Clinton Paul of South Africa. He played for Toyota in the Industrial League.
