Biographical Information[edit]
Hideto Isomura is an amateur Japanese pitcher.
Isomura joined Toshiba in the industrial leagues after college. He pitched 7 scoreless innings in the 2004 Haarlem Baseball Week, going 1-0. He pitched in the 2005 Asian Championship. In the 2005 Baseball World Cup, the right-hander went 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA in 5 games, getting wins over Taiwan and the USA. He struck out 11 in 8 2/3 innings but allowed 12 hits. He pitched in the 2006 Asian Games. In the 2007 Baseball World Cup, he struggled, allowing 11 hits and 6 runs in 5 1/3 IP for Japan, which still managed to win a Bronze Medal.
