Biographical Information[edit]

Helen Hannah Campbell was an executive in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Her father Truck Hannah played in the majors.

She was a high school classmate of Richard Nixon. She was one of the first women from the LA areas to enroll in the Marines during World War II and would spend 32 years as a master gunnery sergeant. She was a chaperone for the Muskegon Lassies from 1947-1951. She then became the team's General Manager. She served as national president of the Women Marine Association as well as their national chaplain among other posts.

She was the last surviving AAGPBL chaperone.
