Heitor Correa has pitched in the Philadelphia Phillies system. He has been timed in the 90s.
Correa was signed by scout Sal Agostinelli as an amateur free agent in November of 2005. In 2006, he struggled in his pro debut, going 0-3 with a 7.83 ERA for the GCL Phillies, allowing 35 hits in 23 innings. In 2007, Heitor was 3-3 with a 3.74 ERA for the same club. He missed the entire 2008 season after being suspended for violating team rules. He pitched for Brazil in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup, walking 7 in 13 2/3 IP but going 2-0 with a 3.95 ERA; while his ERA was worse than staff leader Marcelo Arai, he got Brazil's only two wins in the 8-game event. He led the event with 4 hit batsmen.
