Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Hofer played in the minor leagues, for the Quincy Gems, from at least 1907 to 1908. The outfielder hit .218 in 36 games. He also managed the Gems those seasons, leading them to sixth and third place finishes, respectively.
He served as the president of the Gems for a spell as well.
He might have been replaced by Fred Bennett as manager in 1909, sources differ as to whether that was the case.
