Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Glenn was a catcher with a cup of coffee with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1915, for whom he posted an OBP of 421.
He was up the same year that Rogers Hornsby broke in, but Harry had his last appearance in May while Hornsby made his debut in September. Harry spent much of the 1915 season with the St. Paul Saints, where he hit .296. He was with St. Paul from 1914-1918.
He was in the Armed Forces during World War I. He was learning to fly but died from pneumonia caused by the Spanish influenza. He died at age 28 in October 1918 and is buried at Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN.
